Screen -6 inch, 300 ppi display the highest resolution yet for a Kindle device. I was very impressed that reading now has become easier with the added resolution. I appreciated the added resolution with words being sharper and clearer plus images being very crisp. The backlight really helps too.
Battery power- Now a charge last up to a week or more of course depending on how much you read. Battery power has always been an issue on my cellphone, so I am glad I don't have to worry about my Kindle Paperwhite. A full charge takes at most 4 hours.
Cloud- Free cloud storage for all amazon content which is a basic feature on all newer Kindle devices. So nothing special here but glad its included.
Glare free - unlike other tablets,ipads, or other e-readers Kindle Paperwhite is glarefree!! An excellent feature when you want to read and don't want to worry about sunlight glare interfering.The aut-adjusting backlight built in really works to give an advantage that other devices do not have.Storage - Comes with 4 GB of memory capable or holding 1,000 of books. This should be standard thus not a special feature.
WiFi- Connects easily to any WiFi-point I have tested this in my house as well as other places and received no problems. The connection strength is similar to my computer as far as range.
Special Kids feature- a $2.99 a month unlimited kids books feature which is excellent in saving money for adults who have kids.
Overall thoughts- The new Kindle Paperwhite is an excellent upgrade to the original. The best features are the excellent screen resolution which makes reading even easier, the no glaring so you can read no matter where you are in comfort, and the great range it has when connecting to WiFi. Overall I reccommend the new Kindle Paperwhite to any person looking for a solid upgrade or is new to Kindle devices.
